this is the Antiquenos’s version of the famous Kilawin

it is a mixture odf Raw fish,  vinegar, salt, sliced onions, garlic and ginger  

in some versions they add soy sauce, slices of tomato, some pepper, muscovado sugar, batwan 

or iba (camias) fruits or simple calamansi juice according to the preference of the cook

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Binabak

shrimp delicacy made of pounded river shrimps (patuyaw)

steamed along with young coconut meat, ginger and wrapped in banana leaves.
