                                        and this commemorates

                                     the Landing of the Ten Datus

                                 and their agreement with the native

It highlights the fineness of their mat weavers,

Tatusan Festival

   Every March

 

In recognition of the abundance of Tatus

 Tatus, a Rare and expensive species of

      Coconut Crab located in Caluya.

 There are crab-shaped floats,

street-dancing and booths that

  display the Tatus.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Pahinis de Laua-an Festival

     Every March

 

They joined in the Iloilo Dinagyang 2007

Kasadyahan CompetitionThe tribe “Pahinis de Laua-an”

   aims to promote the native product of the town,

      which is muscovado sugar and

    the deliciously sweet delicacies derived from it.
